Our Club’s History
At Scarborough Tennis Club, we have a long and proud history of meeting the tennis and broader entertainment needs of our members and visitors in a relaxed beachside environment.
Founded in 1964, we have built a strong reputation as a great place to play tennis and develop friendships in a fantastic location next to Abbott Park and within walking distance of the redeveloped Scarborough beachfront.
The club offers 13 grass courts (which are available from October to July) and six hard courts, available throughout the year. Social, coaching, championships, pennants – we’ve got it all so you (and your family or friends) can easily find your niche, no matter what your age or tennis level.
In 2023 our Club House and Facilities had a complete renovation thanks to the City of Stirling and we are also receiving a new outdoor patio in September to further enhance our members and guests experience.
We also have a function room that is used for club purposes and also hired out for variety of activities such as exercise classes, celebrations and other events.
