SCARB TENNIS CLUB WEATHER UPDATE
Well… it looks like the weather has decided to enter the tournament and unfortunately, it’s going to be the winner this weekend.
With conditions forecast to be severe, the courts will be unplayable and, more importantly, it’s not worth risking anyone’s health out there.
Even the Queen knows when to sit this one out.
This means, the call has been made to cancel all matches scheduled for this weekend.
With a revised schedule (PLAN B). The competition dates are:
• Saturday 11th April
• Sunday 12th April
• Sunday 19th April
With the events shuffling to different days. I’m truly sorry if this means you miss out on your event please let me know if that’s the case.
A cyclone crashing the draw wasn’t exactly in last year’s game plan… but here we are. Rest up, stay safe, and get ready because after Easter it's back on.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Each event will be held on a single day except the Grand Final. If you enter an individual event and make it to the Grand Final you must be available to play the Grand Final anytime on Sunday 19th April.
All Open Events will be knockout out elimination. All graded events will be round robins. The graded events will contain 2 divisions. To enter Division 1 your club grade must be between 3 – 7. To enter Division 2 your club grade must be between 8 – 12. You may only enter 1 event per day. Entries for Club Champions are only for full members and those aged 15+. Lunch WILL NOT be available at the club for purchase. Please bring your own lunch or organise to buy locally.
