Want to play tennis?
Come and meet your
new Sunday club.

Thinking about joining a tennis club but not quite sure where to start?

Maybe you haven't played for years. Maybe you're new to the game. Maybe you're worried you won't know anyone or that everyone will be far better than you.

Don't worry about any of that.

Sunday Arvo Tennis is a simple way to come down, have a hit and experience Scarborough Tennis Club without needing to know the rules of the club, know a group of people or commit to membership.

Just bring yourself. We'll sort the tennis.

Bring your partner, a mate or some friends - or come along on your own.

From 1pm, our set supervisors organise the afternoon into 25-minute sets, with a five-minute changeover between each one. We'll organise the games and mix players around, so you'll meet different people and play with different abilities throughout the afternoon.

That's the beauty of classic social tennis.

You don't need to arrive with your own foursome and stay on the same court. Come to meet people, have a hit and be part of the afternoon.

And don't worry if you're not the strongest player on the court. We welcome all levels - from people finding their feet to experienced players who simply enjoy a relaxed Sunday hit.

$15. That's it.

For just $15, you can come down and give it a go.

Bring your own racquet if possible. We have a small supply available to borrow, but they're limited.

And once you've finished playing, don't rush off.

Grab a drink from the bar, have a chat, watch some tennis and enjoy the clubhouse and facilities. You might come down simply to try it out and discover that you've found a group of people, a place and a Sunday afternoon you really enjoy.

And if you love it? Maybe Scarborough becomes your club.
