At Scarborough Tennis Club, coaching is delivered by the Scarborough Tennis Academy, led by Head Coach Rick Willsmore, who has been developing players at the club for almost 20 years.
And Rick knows his tennis.
He has played State Grade and US College tennis, is a qualified Tennis Australia Club Professional and has even written for Australian Tennis Magazine. He's also Scarborough's most decorated Club Champion, with an incredible 26 singles, doubles and mixed doubles titles to his name.
In other words, Rick can play.

Rick has built a strong coaching team that caters for players at all levels and stages of their tennis journey.
The Academy coaches children from as young as 3 years old through to adults, from complete beginners through to advanced and competitive players.
The results speak for themselves.
Scarborough's junior program has achieved outstanding success, with 33 junior Premierships across seven summer seasons, alongside a strong focus on participation, player development and creating pathways for those who want to compete.
But coaching isn't only about winning.
It's about becoming more confident on court. Understanding the game. Learning how to hit the ball properly. Improving your movement and technique. And, most importantly, enjoying your tennis more.
